The Dragon's Head Blog: Celebrating a Quarter of a Century in Italy — Part II

Anniversaries / International Programs / Italy

Taoist Tai Chi Firenze FlorenceFollowing the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the Associazione Taoist Tai Chi – Italia, last weekend an international workshop took place in Florence, with guests from many countries (Great Britain, Slovakia, Hungary, Holland, Spain) and from all branches in Italy.

The weather was very hot, but we have been practicing in what used to be a church. The building has thick walls, columns, and a high ceiling. The environment was inspiring and much more comfortable than outside!

Carmen Capilla led the program and helped and accompanied us in deepening our practice, in finding the foundations in each move, in trying to care less and less for all the external aspects of this art and letting the opening happen, so that changes and harmony can find the way to reach a deeper expression (now and then).

We keep being guided to understand how much we can aspire to look for, through this art, beside the form.

Of course, we did not miss the opportunity of sharing, once more, very good food (homemade by members!) and tasks and fun.

We are now back in our lives reinforced and happy to have a number of directions for our homework: as practitioners, as members, as instructors.

Thanks to TTCS.

Thanks to Carmen.

Thanks to all participants.

Thanks, above all, to Master Moy.

Ciao dall’Italia
