Happy Cross Canada Seniors’ Day 2016 from all of us here at the Victoria Branch Centre in the Pacific Region. The Victoria Branch is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island with seven locations including two of the Gulf Islands.

More than 60 people have gathered to celebrate Seniors’ Day here in Victoria. There will be lots of tai chi, a silent auction, a delicious lasagna lunch prepared by our volunteers and a lovely big cake sporting the event’s logo. How about the live feed and the chance to do jongs in real time with tai chi friends across Canada! CHEK TV is planning to join us so we can share the day with the public. Small discussion groups are planned for the afternoon. O We are looking forward to a fun day to celebrate, engage, support and enrich seniors and pre-seniors here in Victoria.
