The Dragon's Head Blog: Tired but happy after IAD 2016

We’re just back at the International Centre after a hot but wonderful day celebrating International Awareness Day at Yonge Dundas Square in Toronto. Delegates from the 25 countries practising Taoist Tai Chi® arts brought greetings, and a lively samba band played during the parade. Sixty-three curious passers-by dared to try the four first movements of the set and went back to work with a smile on their faces.

Plus we travelled by bus to Wong Dai Sin Temple to celebrate the first anniversary of its Grand Opening. The winners of a photo contest showcasing our Taoist temple’s beauty were also announced, with dignatories and media attending. The hundreds of people here for CIT Week also had the opportunity to look around the temple.

Next year it’s the 10th anniversary of the Grand Opening of the Three Religions Temple at the International Centre, near Orangeville. Start taking photos now so you have some to enter a contest for that anniversary too. Details will be announced later.
