Members from across the newly extended Aberdeen Angus Branch met for some tai chi practice, and prepared a traditional meal of haggis, neeps and tatties, to celebrate Chinese New Year and Robbie Burns Night.

We gave a demo for the evening Christmas shoppers in Colchester town centre. It was a nice opportunity to do more tai chi and talk to people about Taoist Tai Chi® arts within a festive atmosphere.

  The tea party at Colchester has become an annual event. This time it had a 60’s theme and was at the weekend.  As always there was lots of fun and lots of food.

On Saturday morning there are new arrivals who join the International Workshop in Edinburgh to practice Taoist Tai Chi® arts.   The food chopping team increases production.  The practice floor fills with open friendly (and soon to be hungry) faces.  

Outwardly, it looks similar – some chanting, some tai chi, some standing, preparing lunch – but inwardly it feels different, because now it’s the third day, and the transformation is progressing.
